# Schwarz-Digits-Campus — reference dossier

Research date: 7 September 2026. This is an independent exterior-study MVP, not an official digital twin, BIM model, measured reconstruction, or licensed architectural asset collection.

## Site confirmation

The intended place is **Schwarz-Digits-Campus**, formerly **Schwarz-Projekt-Campus**, Gewann **Obere Fundel**, southern edge of **Kochendorf**, Bad Friedrichshall, Germany. “Digita” in the request is interpreted as “Digits”, not another campus in Heilbronn or Neckarsulm. JSWD is the architect; LAND Germany is the landscape designer; Werner Sobek advised on facades/structure. Primary sources below corroborate this identification.

## Evidence and visual reference register

### R01 — Architect's current project page (primary)

Fetched and read. Credits: photos **Franco Casaccia/JSWD**; visualizations **Bloomimages**. Contains the main project gallery. Architectural facts used: rounded polygonal/petal-shaped blocks, three-to-six storey overall massing, glazed base connecting blocks, green center, terraced parking plateau, vertically overlapping metal-framed glazing, roof photovoltaics. Architect describes seven buildings in the overall scheme, five first-phase buildings and two reserved for a later phase. No coordinates or measured floor plan extracted. Nine direct gallery image URLs were subsequently extracted using the free public Microlink metadata/HTML service and all nine were opened with the image inspection tool. These include a five-block construction aerial, facade/terrace photographs, a park basin view, an interior visualization and a historic seven-block overall visualization. They were NOT bulk downloaded into the deliverable; the exact URLs and per-image observations are in `asset-manifest.json` and the opt-in online gallery. The five-block aerial materially informed the revised massing.

**Rights:** no open reuse license established. Gallery is a reference-only external source, NOT runtime textures or redistributed photographs. Further publication of a close architectural reproduction requires an appropriate rights assessment.

Fetched and read. Describes the petal arrangement, terraced parking, green middle and initially five blocks connected by a ground-floor magistrale. Fetched and read. Confirms Bad Friedrichshall and Obere Fundel; construction commencement in 2021. Its 2025 completion forecast is historic. Do not use it to claim the present construction state. Photos/graphics remain reference-only unless an explicit license is subsequently obtained.

Fetched and read. Confirms official opening, five terraced buildings, site area of 15.5 ha and a green center. Announces capacity up to 5,500. The implementation does not convert this area into measured scene dimensions. No permission to turn press images into game assets was established. Press availability alone is not an open license.

### R05 — Facade contractor IGM (specialist primary)

Fetched and read. Describes five buildings, courtyards, glass envelope with toothed/scale-like structure, prefabricated facade elements, multilevel terraces. Used to choose individually articulated panels instead of a generic uninterrupted glass box. Reported element size/weight and facade area are not used as an exact dimension grid. Reference-only project gallery; rights not established.

Fetched and read (response body partially truncated by tool). Project register credits a set of **10 images**: images 1–7 **Franco Casaccia/JSWD**, 8–9 **bloomimages/JSWD**, 10 **JSWD**. These are gallery references, not ten locally acquired files. The contents/type of every individual image were not independently inspected. Source conflicts with primary announcements on capacity; avoid treating its 5,000 workspaces as an independently verified first-phase count.

Direct URL discovered from the site's public WordPress oEmbed response, not guessed. Metadata size 2540 × 1693. Visually shows an entrance bay: bronze/champagne-toned metal glazing frame, blue reflective glass, rounded corners, curved low glazed connector, layered rough stone retaining walls, stairs and lush planted terraces. This photo informed the material palette and facade treatment. **Reference only; not bundled or hotlinked into the running application.** Credit: WBD gallery credits Franco Casaccia/JSWD for its first images; verify the exact image credit with the publisher before reuse. No CC/public-domain license found.

This is an **artenschutzrechtlicher Fachbeitrag**, not an architect's as-built floor plan. It is a candidate source for pre-development context/location and environmental maps. **Not downloaded or visually checked**; do not claim its drawings were traced or dimensions recovered. Public municipal availability does not automatically release embedded maps/aerial photography under an open license. Any map/aerial credits and licensing must be checked per figure before reuse.

## What this MVP can and cannot claim

**Source-backed motifs:** five first-phase blocks; rounded polygonal envelopes; interior courtyards; metal-and-glass scale articulation; a green center; low interconnecting base; terraced setting; roof greenery and PV as a landscape-conscious design interpretation.

**Interpretive geometry:** every footprint, rotation, dimension, inter-building distance, storey-to-building assignment, courtyard proportion, path, vegetation position and roof equipment position in `geometry.js` / `app.js`. The number and positions of virtual trees do not reproduce the reported real planting count. The site's entrance alignment and surrounding countryside are scenic approximations. Ground has a procedural terraced podium and a sloping entrance canyon; paired stair strips are simplified walkable slopes. Camera height follows this interpreted terrain. No surveyed topography is reproduced. A central opening in the entrance connector is a virtual access simplification, not a documented real doorway. The overview is not north-oriented or georeferenced. The number labels are demo labels, not official building IDs.

**Not reconstructed:** interiors, underground garage interiors, building entrances/doors as actual access arrangements, surrounding road network, verified second-phase footprints, security equipment, current operational access rules. The real central area is employee-only; exploring this virtual study does not imply physical public access.

**Fidelity limit:** nine JSWD gallery images were actually inspected, including a five-block aerial and a separate seven-block visualization; the WBD hero duplicates one entrance photograph. Multiple architectural primary texts were read and further photo/plan galleries catalogued. This is NOT photogrammetry or a photo-exact reconstruction. A measured/georeferenced plan and dated as-built multi-angle photography are still needed for high-fidelity geometry. The dossier deliberately distinguishes discovered links from acquired/inspected material.

## Redistributable runtime assets

- Bundled **Three.js 0.183.2**, MIT; license in `vendor/THREE-LICENSE.txt`. Copied from a locally installed package, version inspected. Three.js is a maintained open-source engine: https://threejs.org/ and https://github.com/mrdoob/three.js . A newer online version could not be checked because npm/network certificate access failed; no claim this is the latest release.
- Geometry, procedural environment canvases, terrain colors, sign canvases and vegetation were created for this MVP. No stock images, scraped aerial tiles, external fonts, commercial HDRIs, logos or paid generation APIs are used.
- The custom code is supplied under MIT (root `LICENSE`), excluding any third-party architectural/brand rights. No license over the actual campus design or names is implied.
- Model screenshots in `evidence/` are screenshots of the generated study, NOT photographs of the campus.

## Lightweight existing-solutions preflight

Use the existing maintained Three.js renderer and instancing rather than inventing a renderer or buying a campus asset. A-Frame could supply VR scaffolding, but this MVP needs desktop/touch, not a VR stack. Three.js + vanilla ES modules is enough. Existing local Three.js 0.183.2 and Playwright/Chromium are reused read-only; all project files are self-contained. No package install, subscriptions, paid image generation, configuration changes, public deployment or push.

## Acquisition constraints

The configured web-search provider rejected optional search parameters, so public search results were obtained through DuckDuckGo HTML and followed with the web-fetch tool. Command-line HTTPS reported an expired certificate; TLS verification was not disabled. Direct browser visits to the architect site timed out. The public WBD oEmbed endpoint provided a first verifiable image. Later, the free Microlink public HTML extractor returned nine direct image URLs from the accessible JSWD page; all nine were inspected without changing TLS, credentials, or access controls. No paid feature was used. Cloudflare-blocked sites were not bypassed. Empty failed-download placeholders are not treated as collected material.
